On each side of his feet is a holder... one for a salt shaker and one for pepper shaker, which are included. You will enjoy this great piece of art. This rooster can be used indoors or outdoors. When being used outdoors, the metal can rust if exposed to the elements for a long period of time. To prevent this, treat with a clear coat of acrylic enamel such as Krylon or Rustoleum.
